Nothdurft takes part in tripleheader in South Dakota
On Friday evening Blair Nothdurft visited Brown County Speedway (Aberdeen, S.D.) competing in a field of 18 WISSOTA Late Models. Scoring a fourth place finish in his heat, Nothdurft earned the sixth-starting position for the opening night feature. Coming one spot shy of a Top-10 finish, Blair dropped five spots to place 11th.
The following night at Miller Central Speedway (Miller, S.D.) for the Tri-State Late Model Series-sanctioned program, Blair improved five spots in his heat race to register a third finish. Starting the main event in ninth, Nothdurft suffered a broken water pump belt that forced him to retire early from the 25-lapper. (Cody R. Papke photo | CRP Photos)
For the third stop of the weekend, Nothdurft headed to Casino Speedway (Watertown, S.D.) on Sunday. Following a fourth place finish in his heat race, Blair was disqualified from the 25-lap feature.
