Blair Nothdurft records a pair of runner-up finishes
Blair Nothdurft made a mid-week trip to Clay County Fair Speedway (Spencer, Iowa) on Tuesday afternoon for the Repairable Vehicles.com Tri-State Series-sanctioned Battle of the Blue Ribbon. In a field of 22 cars, Nothdurft secured his spot into the opening night feature with a heat race victory. Jumping up one spot in the 25-lap affair, Blair scored a runner-up finish, which came behind Justin Zeitner. J.C. Wyman, Corey Zeitner, and Nick Beyenhof rounded out the Top-5. (Jeff Bylsma photo)
Returning with the Tri-State Series on Saturday at Rapid Speedway (Rock Rapids, Iowa) for the Rapid Nationals, Blair followed up a seventh-to-second run in his heat with a second-place finish in the feature. He trailed Nick Beyenhof to the checkers with Jordan Heiman, Nate Beyenhof, and Lane Brenden completing the Top-5 finishers.
Blair remains leading the latest Tri-State Series point standings.
