Nothdurft tackels Silver Dollar Nationals; runner-up showing in Ben Nothdurft Memorial
Nothdurft kicked off his busy week at Shelby County Speedway (Harlan, Iowa) on Tuesday and finished 15th in the $25,053-to-win event before heading to Husets Speedway (Brandon, S.D.) for four straight days of competition.
Among 46 Tri-State Late Models on Wednesday, Nothdurft started seventh in the $6,000-to-win show and ran second to Tad Pospisil.
Nothdurft joined the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series for the remainder of the weekend and made both $10,000-to-win preliminary shows, finishing 17th and 15th. In Saturday's $75,000-to-win finale, Blair grabbed the final transfer spot in his B-Main and made up five spots to finish 17th in the rain-shortened feature.
