Nothdurft finishes fifth and sixth with Malvern Bank West at Park Jefferson and Shelby County

Joining the tour for the first two nights of their tripleheader weekend, Blair Nothdurft drove into Park Jefferson (S.D.) International Speedway on Friday evening for the $5,000-to-win Malvern Bank West Series event.

Gaining two spots in his heat race, Nothdurft started the 30-lap main event from the third-row and rounded out the Top-5 in fifth. He trailed Dallon Murty, Chad Simpson, Jason Hahne, and Corey Zeitner.

On Saturday night, Blair earned the pole position for the $5,156-to-win show at Shelby County Speedway (Harlan, Iowa) and led the opening nine laps before fading to finish sixth.
