Deer Creek Speedway brings Blair Nothdurft $7,000 victory with Malvern Bank Series
Spending Labor Day weekend with the Malvern Bank East and West Series, Blair Nothdurft kicked off the tripleheader at Cresco (Iowa) Speedway on Thursday evening before heading over to Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minn.) on Friday and Saturday.
Nothdurft finished seventh in the $5,000-to-win opener and improved upon that during night one at Deer Creek where he recorded a Top-5 finish in fourth. With $7,000 up for grabs on the final night of competition, Blair started on the first-row for the 40-lap main event and took the lead from the drop of the green flag. In dominating fashion, Nothdurft led all 40 circuits and took home the $7,000 victory over Chad Simpson and Jake Timm.
