Nothdurft scores Top-5 in Corn State Nationals finale in MARS Late Model debut
Making his debut with the series, Blair Nothdurft made the long tow to Davenport (Iowa) Speedway on Friday afternoon for the Corn State Nationals doubleheader with the MARS Late Model Championship Series.
After a DNF in Friday's opener, Nothdurft registered a much better run on Saturday. Blair picked up a heat race win and started third in the $10,000-to-win feature event where he would wind up fourth. He trailed Jason Feger, Chris Simpson, and Frank Heckenast Jr. while Garrett Alberson completed the Top-5.
